About the event
Allison Riley, PhD, MSW, Chief Program Officer with Girls on the Run International will review the State of the Girl report conducted by Girls on the Run with national data on the state of girls physical health, social wellbeing, and factors that contribute to girls confidence.
Wendy Dordel, CEO of Girl Scouts Gateway will review the State of the Florida Girl Report, where members of a panel of experts from Florida's higher education community reviewed data on the state of girls in Florida. Wendy will spend her time focusing on mental health, building resilience, and the importance of felt safety.
Stephanie Burke, MSW, VP of Model Programming & Partnerships with the Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center will present local data on the state of girls with a focus on educational outcomes for girls. She will share actionable steps to support girls based on Girl Centered Practice and Principles.
